Cotton. Reincarnated.

Ever wondered what happens to those favourite old clothes of yours? You know, that ones you loved to death but eventually had to throw away.

Well, we've recycled them.

We took that soft pre-loved cotton and made something new out of it.

In a previous life this garment might have been a t-shirt, a jacket or a fleece.Who knows what? Now we've given it another chance to live again.

And when the day comes that it reaches the end of its life, it too will be sent back to the factory where it can be ground down, decoloured, converted into polyester polymers, spun back into fibre and then made into something new.

Then it will start life again as another product. Maybe for another brand. For another use. In another country, bought by another person.

When you make something these days, you have to be responsible for its second life, and its third life and its fourth life and so on... it's just good karma.

Coloured By Nature.

This product has been dyed using natural extracts from plants.

Rather than choosing colours from a Pantone swatch book, we've picked them from the gentle, naturally occurring hues of the garden and the beauty around us.

For instance; beets or cabbage give us red, turmeric for golden yellow, spinach for green and indigo for blue. These natural pigments feel so familiar you can almost smell them.

We Are Not Heavy Metal Fans.

We don't mean Ozzy or Motorhead (we like them).

Some textile dyes contain heavy metals like lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd) or even arsenic (As).

As you can imagine, these have some pretty scary environmental and health impacts.

Fortunately, the plant based dyes we've used are completely non-toxic and contain none of those heavy metals.

They are lower impact and a lot safer for the planet. Rock on.

Who Benefits?

Using natural dyes in our clothing means the garment workers will benefit, the rivers will benefit and you will benefit. After all, you'll be the one wearing it for hours on end.
