Sustainability is sewn into every garment we make, so every button, thread and stitch is an opportunity to innovate. When it came to designing the waistband logo patch for our trousers, we chose an animal-friendly patch made from recycled paper instead of leather.

From an animal welfare standpoint, we think using leather to make a logo patch is unnecessary. Turning animal skin into a finished leather product also uses massive amounts of energy, land, water, and produces toxic waste that harms workers and local communities.

The patch we use is vegan-friendly and made from 100% recycled paper. It's a natural material that's completely traceable and produced in a non-toxic process. By using paper instead of leather we reduce our carbon emissions and the overall environmental impact of our products.
