What is it?

Organic cotton is grown without using synthetic fertilisers and other substances that harm the environment.

How does it work?

We all think that cotton is one of the purist fabrics around, it feels cosy and safe and familiar. The truth is it's not as clean as we’d all like to think. Traditional cotton is one of the most heavily sprayed crops grown by man, with a long list of toxic agricultural chemicals used during its growing process; pesticides, soil additives, herbicides, fertilisers, defoliants and more.

And you can bet the shirt on your back that those chemicals stay on the cotton while you're wearing it too. Common sense says that can’t be doing you any good.

We only use GOTS certified organic cotton that's grown without using harmful practices. Organic farmers use nature-based methods to manage pests, promote healthy soil and respect the welfare of the birds and bees.
